Our Story
Jayhawk Transport LLC was formed by Jason Vokovan in the spring of 2003 with just one truck, and a sense of perseverance. It has since grown into a two dozen+ truck operation. The fleet is comprised of both company trucks and owner-operators. Jason grew up in the very small blue collar town of Port Wing in Northern Wisconsin on the south shore of Lake Superior. He learned at an early age to work hard at anything that you do, and that nothing is owed to you. His company reflects that attitude. Things continue to grow but he vows to always provide great service and to stay true to his small town roots.

Whether it's large equipment or general goods; single trip loads or dedicated route freight, we can find a solution to move it swiftly, cost effectively, and reliably. *We now offer trailer spotting and shuttling services.

We are still locally owned by the original owner, and based out of Eau Claire, WI. The beautiful Chippewa Valley area is well situated between Minneapolis, MN and Madison, WI with busy transportation routes I-94, US-53, and WIS-29 running through it. Our fleet size has grown, but our family-oriented attitude has remained the same. Our owner's can-do approach is how the company views tasks at hand. Drivers:
We are always looking for professional company drivers and owner-operators to join our expanding team. We operate late-model Peterbilts and Kenworths in our professional company fleet.
